When some people want to eat authentic Polish food, they think they should go to a restaurant with a hay roof and roosters for decorations. That’s not what you will find at Dzika Gęś (Wild Goose).
What you will find, however, is authentic Polish food, updated and with a twist.
You will get all the Polish classics like herring, pierogi, and for the adventurous, cow tongue, and everything in between. The difference is that the food here doesn’t seem to be as greasy and starchy as you would find in other, more “traditional” Polish restaurants.
The decor is eclectic. You can definitely see that the decorator has a specific style.
The service is professional and very helpful. There are menus in English and German.
I like how there is a large window through which you can see the chefs preparing your food.
Overall, if you’re in the mood for Polish food, but not a food coma, I would highly recommend Dzika Gęś!
